CCA Overview

The Track and Field CCA is dedicated to developing students holistically through athletics. At its core, the CCA focuses on strengthening students’ foundational movement competencies — particularly in running, throwing, and jumping. Through structured and progressive training sessions, students enhance their physical fitness, coordination, and technical skills in various track and field events.

Beyond athletic development, the CCA places a strong emphasis on character building. Students are guided to uphold key values such as perseverance, integrity, respect, and excellence — values that are closely aligned with the school’s core principles. These are cultivated through consistent effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork, both in training and competition.

The CCA’s training programme is designed to be both rigorous and supportive, providing students with opportunities to test and showcase their abilities. Students are provided with opportunities to take part in the annual National School Games, as well as selected external competitions, allowing them to gain valuable experience, build resilience, and strive for excellence in a competitive setting.

The Track and Field CCA ultimately aims to nurture confident, disciplined, and well-rounded individuals who demonstrate commitment both on and off the track.
